The Government will start a new implementation route of the special chapters of the National Plan of Development

This was announced by the Minister of the Interior, Nancy Patricia Gutiérrez, upon her arrival in Quibdó, at the extraordinary session of the Intersectorial Commission for the department of Chocó, where the problems of social conflict in the area were assessed. "The Government has had a constant presence in Chocó. Since the inauguration of President Iván Duque, he has come on three occasions and the entire government has been monitoring the territory", she said. On the National Development Plan, PND, she explained: "will become law of the Republic at the end of May 2009. Once approved, the implementation route of the special chapters of indigenous, black communities, Afro-Colombian, Raizal and Palenqueras, in the department of Cauca, on June 6 and 7 ". The Minister announced that, on May 17, she will return to Chocó, with the Timely Action Plan for the protection of social leaders, human rights defenders, community members and journalists. The Minister also met with indigenous Embera Chamí and Wonan, from the south of the department, with whom she discussed security and conflict issues. To the extraordinary session of the Intersectorial Commission of the Department of Chocó attended The Minister of the Interior, Nancy Patricia Gutiérrez; the director of the National Planning Department, DNP, Gloria Alonso; the presidential advisor for Economic and Strategic Affairs, Felipe Buitrago; the director of the Unit for Attention and Integral Reparation to Victims, Ramón Rodríguez, and delegates from the different entities.
