The Minister of the Interior, Nancy Patricia Gutiérrez, continues to lead the visits to the regions to implement the Plan of Action Timely and work on the prevention and protection of social leaders.
The Working Table, which will be held in this municipality of Antioquia, at 1:00 p.m., will be attended by a delegation from the Government, the international community, social leaders, territorial entities and control agencies.
In order to continue taking urgent measures that allow the State to take concrete actions, in an articulated manner, to face the attacks on social leaders, the Minister of the Interior, Nancy Patricia Gutiérrez, will be this Tuesday, January 22, in Caucasia.
The Minister will lead this Work Table, which will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the General Library, attending the Early Warning in which the Government will listen to the community and the territorial entities, in order to carry out a joint work of prevention and protection of social leaders.
The delegation that will accompany Minister Gutiérrez is made up of Alberto Brunori, Representative in Colombia of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights; Colonel Arango, director of Human Rights of the Ministry of Defense; Gloria María Borrero, Minister of Justice; Iván Mantilla, TIC vice minister; Miguel Ceballos, High Commissioner for Peace; Francisco Barbosa, presidential adviser for Human Rights; Colonel Jhon Alejandro Murillo, National Protection Unit; Mayor Alexánder Riaño, National Police; Carlos Alfonso Negret, Ombudsman; delegates from the MAPP-OEA, the Prosecutor's Office and the Attorney General's Office, among others.
