"We hope that this is a peaceful event where mayors and leaders will make decisions in the public order of each of their cities and departments, and the National Government will also take some measures to ensure that this is a peaceful march", said the Vice Minister of Political Relations, Daniel Palacios, at the end of the Territorial Committee of Public Order, held in Cúcuta. Palacios reiterated that the Government, the governorates and mayoralties are evaluating the legal capacities necessary to guarantee public order during the mobilizations of November 21. From Thursday 14 to Saturday 16, the Vice Minister Palacios and the Deputy Director for Citizen Security and Coexistence, Fabio Parra, toured the Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, Bolívar, Atlántico, Norte de Santander and Santander, accompanied by civil and military authorities, regional and national, to carry out this Territorial Committee of Public Order with the purpose of guaranteeing citizenship rights. In these committees the Ministries of Interior and Defense, the Army, the Police, the National Protection Unit, the Treasury, the Attorney General's Office and territorial authorities have participated.
