Mocoa will have more security thanks to the cameras installed to fight crime

The Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Rivera Floréz, gave the capital of Putumayo a complete system of video surveillance cameras and a monitoring center that will allow the authorities to fight crime

This project was managed through the Citizen Security and Coexistence Fund with an investment of 3,780 million from the Ministry of the Interior and 550 million COPs from the municipality.

“This is going to be a police tool not only to identify the criminals, but also to take them safely”, said Mayor José Antonio Castro.

“Today is a very important day for me because we come to Mocoa to deliver an important project for coexistence and citizen security, this system will help to anticipate the crime and prosecute those responsible judicially”, said the head of the political portfolio, who an acknowledgment to the local leader for his commitment to the safety of the municipality.
