The Deputy Minister of the Interior, Luis Ernesto Gómez, will install the day of election of the national student representative before the Advisory Board of the Special Fund of Educational Credits for Black Communities (FECECN), to be held in Bogota, on June 15 and 16.
This space seeks to strengthen the organization and qualification of youth participation, an issue that has been led by Vice Minister Gomez, with the aim of including ideas and proposals for citizenship for empowerment and generational change.
With this last day, organized by the Department of Affairs for Black, Afro-Colombian, Raizales and Palenqueras Communities of the Ministry of the Interior, a successful timetable that began in February with the election of the representatives of Meta and Bogota, and which continued with marathon days throughout the national territory, with the participation of more than 3,500 young Afro students, who contributed significantly, not Only with their vote, but with their ideas, creating spaces and committees at the departmental level to strengthen the black communities.
The event will be held at the Hotel Dann Carlton, Avenida 19 No. 5-72.
