MInInterior invited the mayors of Caldas to present social infrastructure projects for their communities
The Minister of the Interior, Alicia Arango Olmos, at the Commitment to Colombia Caldas conference, led by President Iván Duque, invited the mayors of the department to participate in the programs offered by the Ministry, including those for infrastructure, mobility, 'Sacúdete al Parque', and Project Banks for Community Action Boards, social leaders, indigenous and black, Afro-Colombian, Raizal and Palenqueras communities, among others.
“We have had a very close relationship with the department of Caldas and its mayors. We have a Citizen Integration Center ready in Manzanares and another in execution in Palestine; and we have received projects for mobility and ‘Shake yourself to the Park’, which we will carry out, ”said the Interior Minister, Alicia Arango Olmos.
“Sacúdete al Parque” is a program with an investment of more than $ 56 billion to build spaces in the territories that strengthen peace, culture, sports and recreation.
“Sacúdete al Parque aims to develop, strengthen and enhance the talents, capacities and abilities of young people, through the transfer of knowledge and methodological tools that facilitate insertion in the productive market and the consolidation of legal and life projects. sustainable”, assured the Minister of the Interior.
For Arango Olmos "this new infrastructure, promoted by President Duque and the First Lady, constitutes an infrastructure integrated into the public space, which seeks to add recreation, innovation, sports and the learning of new talents."
The projects led by the Ministry of the Interior will generate employment and opportunities in all regions of the country, promoting responsible and safe economic reactivation, in the framework of the pandemic facing the world due to COVID-19.
