The National Development Plan, the 2018 Action Plan and the safety of social leaders were some of the issues addressed in the two days of work developed in Bogotá.
With the aim of strengthening citizen participation processes in the country, the 15th ordinary session of the National Citizen Participation Council (CNPC) was held successfully on Tuesday and Wednesday in the country's capital.
This space was chaired by the director for Democracy, Citizen Participation and Community Action, José David Riveros Namen, who highlighted the commitment of each of the directors with their respective sector in order to strengthen and promote participation in their territories.
In turn, there was a dialogue about the Popular Anti-Corruption Consultation on August 26. The counselors received pedagogical material to replicate with their communities this exercise of Citizen Participation established in Law 1757 of 2015.
During the day, the progress of what has been achieved so far this year, the management of the Territorial Councils of Citizen Participation and the approval of the National System of Citizen Participation was reviewed.
Another of the topics addressed corresponded to the review and work proposals on the participation of the Council in the National Development Plan and the safety of social leaders.
The next session of the CNPC will take place in approximately three months
